Just "Breathe"

I find myself saying this quite often. After listening to my boys bicker, after a long day of endless chores and errands...anytime I just need to relax and compose myself. This happens DAILY. The frustrations and craziness of being a Mom of two boys can tend to be overwhelming. I have been faced with many challenges in the past year with my two boys. As a Mom I strive to be the best I can be for my Husband, my boys and myself. Unfortunately, it's not always sunshine and butterflies in my household. I often stress, feel overwhelmed and feel like I have failed. I have struggled, turning to my family, Husband, friends, teachers and even our Doctor to help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. Although they all kept telling me I'm doing right, I never get that total feeling.
I have always believed in God, I have always had my struggles with my faith. I admit I have strayed away from the Church in the recent years. No real excuse, just the typical time and busy schedules. I had told myself that I needed to reconnect and give myself to him. My family and I had started going to a new Church in which we have grown to love. I have made him a priority and am not going to stray this time around. With this connection I had hoped to seek some insight from the word of God and the Church.
I recently found a post from a fellow Mommy blogger in a group of SoCal Lady Bloggers on Facebook. I was introduced to a book. It was not just any book, but a book for a busy mom who longs to be closer to the Lord. That was so me!! I knew that I would fall in love with the book. And I sure did. The book, Breathe 31 Moments with God {For Moms} is a 10 minute devotional book for Moms who need to breathe life back into your relationship with God.
As I read through the Daily Devotions, I kept saying, "That's me" or "Oh my goodness..this is sooo what I needed." It had the words behind the devotion that I was longing for. The prayer helped me feel closer to God as I prayed.  The reflection questions at the end of each day put my personal challenges and struggles into perspective. I love the prayers at the end of each day as well as the reflection questions. If you're like me and need that extra moments with God, you can purchase Breathe: 31 Moments with God {for Moms} as a softcover devotional, which has a built-in journal, on sale at Amazon for $8.99 through Amazon here. It is also available for Kindle users: “Breathe: 31 Moments with God {for Moms}” is available on @AmazonKindle for only $4.99 today!  http://amzn.to/1hXi1qU
