Week 5 Cinch Journey #Cinchspiration

It's been 5 weeks now since I started my Cinch Journey. It's been an up and down battle trying to stay on track. It's not a bad program, the shakes and snacks are great. But it's the temptation that I've been around in the last week that has been tough. My family and I just started the baseball season which always gets our family into a different routine. Less time to cook at home, running around between two fields and here and there. We also just came back from a quick vacation to visit my parents and sister who just moved to Las Vegas. We all know how tempting the food is in Vegas as well as cocktails and sleepless nights. 
I admit, I splurged on some meals, had some dessert but on the plus side Hubby and I still made it to the gym. Not to mention we walked about 3 1/2 miles on the strip!

My current workout program is a mix of Tone It Up, Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, Fit Moms for Life and Kettlebell workouts. I've been getting great inspiration from Fit Moms for Life as well as some other groups that are taking the same or similar challenges. I am currently down 6 1/2 lbs total. I feel like I've come to a slow down in weight loss, but that's ok. As much as I hate it, I'm probably gaining more muscle weight. I'm a bit bummed I haven't seen much loss in inches. Still to date, only 1 inch in the waist. 1 inch in the thighs. 

Now that we're back from our vacay I can get back into our family routine as well as my own routine. BRING IT ON!!!!

My favorite shake this week has been:
8oz of nonfat milk
1 cup of ice
1 tbsp of almond butter
2 scoops of chocolate or vanilla Cinch powder
with an occasional half of a banana.
