Inexpensive Ways to Celebrate

With tomorrow being my 6 year anniversary with my Husband, I decided to share some inexpensive ways to have fun and celebrate. Everyone these days seem to be on a budget of some kind. It's always an excuse to say, "We can't do anything because we don't have any money, or can't afford to." If you really think about it, there are plenty of ways to enjoy.

Since having kids, my Husband and I have started to spend less money on eachother and more money on trips and family outings. Despite our new rule, it doesn't mean we can't celebrate together and enjoy. So instead of buying a plethora of gifts and material things that can we normally get any other day, we try to focus on spending quality time TOGETHER since that's the one thing we lack when trying to spend quality time with FAMILY.

Some great money saving tips to celebrate:
  • A picnic in the park
  • A bike ride along the beach
  • Enjoy the local scenery in your hometown
  • Create love coupons for eachother
  • Watch your wedding video
  • Stay IN (make dinner together, snuggle and watch a movie on the couch)
  • Relive your first date
  • Plan a getaway or staycation. It doesn't have to be luxurious and expensive. Get some ideas from here.
These are just a few ideas. Search online, most of all be creative.
